Summary Introduction: The technological advancements in the production of synthetic seeds are critical for preservation valuable genotypes many herbal plants, including Salvia officinalis – sage. Objective: aim this study was production, storage and conversion artificial sage seeds. technology is placing explants capable regeneration into plants a protective casing. Methods: Apical axillary buds were encapsulated with 1.2% sodium alginate solution, then dripped 200 mM CaCl 2 solution. Artificial stored at 4°C 30 days converted on MS medium containing 0.3 mg/l BAP. Results: made it possible to obtain high level using apical (85.0%), slightly lower case side (62.5%).
